Pierce channels her fierce sensitivity into an electric, musical story, so much so that she has coined the term "over-dramatic” storyteller. This is due to her unique writing style and its portrayal of emotions. Her lyricism contains a movie-like quality intertwined with brutal honesty. Pierce's creative ingenious provide a cathartic experience that will pierce right through your heart. All of her influences, such as Carole King, Maisie Peters, Lexi Jayde, and Sabrina Carpenter, share the boldness and honesty that it takes to create a universal experience through music. This is the same type of music Pierce brings to the table and intends to continute to create.

Though many of Pierce’s songs are told through poetic and metaphorical language, there is always a tasteful bluntness to her writing. She is sweet, but never backs down from telling it how it is. Lily Pierce is an artist who writes what she feels no matter what. No matter how painful and no matter how complex.
